In line with the guidelines released by the Malacanang and IATF through IATF Resolution No. 103 and Malacanang Memorandum Circular No. 85, the City Government of Baguio introduced amendments to Executive Order 10 series of 2021 through Executive No. 42 Series of 2021. The IATF resolution came, in the light of the daily surge in the number of COVID-19 cases in the Philippines.
The amendments provides for the temporary closure of several establishments of Baguio City. It also provides for the maximum capacity requirement for hotels, cafe’s and restaurants. According to the executive order the following shall halt operations starting March 22, 2021 until April 4, 2021.
The following establishments will also have to abide by the set guidelines in the executive order from March 22 until April 4, 2021 unless otherwise ordered by the IATF-IED.
Departments in the government may opt to have full operational capacity, or may adopt alternative work arrangements in accordance with the rules set by the Civil service commission. However, for the offices in the executive branch of the City of Baguio, the operational capacity will be reduced to a minimum of 30% to a maximum of 50%, unless agencies providing critical services such as health, border control and emergency frontline services will require a higher capacity.
As stated, these guidelines will take effect on March 22, 2021 and will end on April 4, 2021 unless otherwise extended by the IAFT-IED.
