Baguio City enters the Modified General Community Quarantine (MGCQ) Status on June 1, 2020. In line with this, the City Government of Baguio has released the guidelines for MGCQ in Baguio City. Inclusive in this guideline is the temporary transportation scheme that will be implemented during the period of the Modified General Community Quarantine (MGCQ) from June 1 – 15, 2020.
Private vehicles travelling within the City of Baguio shall follow the temporary number coding scheme, effective from 7:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m., provided below:

1. Health workers and members of the Baguio City Contact Tracing Team;
2. Uniformed personnel of the AFP, PNP, BFP, PCG, BJMP, and BUCOR;
3. Service providers in emergency and disaster management;
4. Utility services for water, electricity, telecommunications, and waste management; and
5. Those persons as may be authorized by the local COVID-19 IATF;
Public Utility Jitneys (PUJs) are exempt from the temporary number coding scheme for the duration of MGCQ in Baguio City.
Further, PUJs may operate from 5:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m, provided, they maintain only 50% of vehicle passenger capacity.
516 PUJs with LTFRB special permits will be allowed to operate. Additional 258 units as recommended and indorsed to LTFRB shall be given consideration to operate while processing their special permits.
PUJs from LISTT areas shall maintain their temporary staging areas at Shagem St., Otek St., Marcoville, Cooyeesan, and Slaughter House with limited number of vehicles at any given time.
PUJ operators and drivers must ensure that their passengers wear face masks for while on board the vehicles.
City Ordinance Numbered 5, Series of 2017 is still in effect. In addition, Cargo and delivery trucks shall follow the temporary number coding scheme provided below.

Taxi operation time is from 6:00 AM to 6:00 AM the following day. They are encouraged to implement a No Face Mask, No Ride policy, in addition to other health and safety measures prescribed by the Department of Transportation. In addition, they shall follow the temporary number coding scheme stated below:
May 31(Sun) – 155 taxi units as identified and allowed by LGU
in coordination with BCPO and LTO/LTFRB
June 1 – Plate ending in 1&2
June 2 – Plate ending in 3&4
June 3 – Plate ending in 5&6
June 4 – Plate ending in 7&8
June 5 – Plate ending in 9&0
June 6 – Plate ending in 1&2
June 7(Sun) -155 taxi units as identified and allowed by LGU
in coordination with BCPO and LTO/LTFRB
June 8 – Plate ending in 3&4
June 9 – Plate ending in 5&6
June 10 – Plate ending in 7&8
June 11 – Plate ending in 9&0
June 12 – Plate ending in 1&2
June 13 – Plate ending in 3&4
June 14(Sun) – 155 taxi units as identified and allowed by LGU
