[UPDATED] Help Our Farmers, Visit UP Baguio for Talipapa sa Oble

[UPDATE AS OF JUNE 2, 2020]

The University of the Philippines-Baguio has released an updated schedule and price list for its UP Ikot: Talipapa sa Oble project last June 2, 2020.

New Schedule for UP-Baguio Talipapa sa Oble

This joint project of the UP Alumni Association Baguio-Northern Luzon Chapter and the UP Baguio Alumni Relations Desk was launched last Friday, May 29, 2020 to help entrepreneurs bring their products closer to the community while offering them at no-markup cost.

Previously, the Talipapa sa Oble was scheduled to open every Friday. However, this week it will run from Wednesday until Friday (June 3 to 5, 2020) from 8:00 AM to 11:00 AM.

Reminders to Goers

• Observe proper sanitation and safe physical distancing at all times
• A lavatory is in place at the entry for hand washing
• Entry to the UP Baguio campus is limited to the front gate (along the road in front of the Baguio Convention Center)

The UP Ikot: Talipapa sa Oble

“Buy any produce and get free carrots.” The University of the Philippines-Baguio calls this project “UP Ikot: Talipapa sa Oble, an Initiative to Help Our Farmers” which started last Friday, 29, 2020.

This is a joint project of the UP Alumni Association Baguio-Northern Luzon Chapter and the UP Baguio Alumni Relations Desk that aims to bring farm products and other food items closer to the community at no-markup cost.

UP Ikot: Talipapa sa Oble When and Where

The UP Ikot: Talipapa sa Oble, which also aims to help local entrepreneurs, is open every Friday, from 8:30 AM-12:00 NOON, at the UP Baguio Oblation Grounds.

According to a Facebook post by UP-Baguio Office of Public Affairs, you’ll be able to get FREE carrots by buying any products.

Furthermore, the Talipapa accommodates drive-thru customers.

Everyone who will go to UP Baguio for their UP Ikot: Talipapa sa Oble is reminded to wear basic personal protective gear and follow the markers and guideposts that have been placed around the area for orderly navigation.
