Heads Up! Parts of Benguet will Experience 8-Hour Brownout on June 11, 2020

Heads up! The Benguet Electric Cooperative Inc. (BENECO) has announced today, June 8, 2020, that there is a scheduled power interruption in some areas in Benguet on Thursday, June 11, 2020, from 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM.

Affected Areas of Power Interruption

Based on the advisory released today, here’s the list of the areas that will be affected by the scheduled power interruption on Thursday:

• Whole of Atok, Kabayan, Kapangan, Kibungan
• Major parts of Tublay
• Parts of Buguias

Reminder to Cable and Communication Companies and other Consumers

BENECO would like to remind Cable and Communication Companies to inspect and institute necessary safety measures on their cables/lines attached on the affected BENECO poles.

In addition, consumers are reminded to please consider all lines energized at all times because power may be restored earlier than scheduled.
