The Office of Consular Affairs of the Department of Foreign Affairs (DFA) announced yesterday, June 16, 2020, that passport applicants can choose to have their passport deliveredusing the Passport Online Appointment System (OAS).
According to the advisory, applicants can choose to have their passports delivered right to their doorsteps as courier services are now available through the Passport OAS.
Furthermore, the department is encouraging applicants to avail of the courier service for safety reasons in light of the COVID-19 Pandemic.
However, applicants can still pick up their passport at the Consular Office where they applied.
In addition, the Office of the Consular Affair also announced today that applicants who secured online appointments can now choose to pay their passport applications via Credit or Debit Card Payments.
And as part of providing more payment options for passport applicants, DFA has also partnered with PayMaya Philippines Inc.
With the new paying methods available, passport applicants can experience faster and real-time payment without the need to leave their homes.
