UPDATE June 17, 2026 11:01 AM:
As of the latest monitoring report posted by the Public Information Office – City of Baguio (PIO-Baguio) on Facebook today, May 12, 2020, the number of active COVID-19 cases in the city is now down to 2.
Moreover, the report, as of today, also indicated that out of the thirty-one (31) confirmed cases, the city has recorded twenty-eight (28) recoveries with only one (1) death.
On the other hand, as mass testing has not been implemented yet in Baguio City, this drop in the number of active cases should not be a reason for residents to be complacent even if the city will already be transitioned to General Community Quarantine after May 15, 2020.
