City Logs 5 New COVID-19 Cases; 1 Death

The City of Baguio has recorded five (5) patients who have tested positive for the coronavirus disease (COVID-19) today. This is according to the Daily COVID-19 Monitoring Update by the Public Information Office of Baguio City.

New COVID-19 Cases in Baguio City

Here are the following details on the new cases in Baguio City:

• 53-year old male; symptomatic
• 26-year old female; resident of Barangay Apugan-Loakan; Expanded Testing
• 38-year old female; resident of Barangay Loakan-Liwanag; Expanded Testing
• 41-year old female; resident of Barangay Hillside
• 59-year old male; Expanded Testing

The city has also recorded today the ninth patient who has succumbed to the disease. According to PIO-Baguio, the patient is a 69-year old male retiree who was admitted at BGH on August 13, 2020 with mild symptoms of colds and sore throat. He also had an underlying heart condition and have undergone a heart procedure last March.
