The holiday season is fast approaching. Thus, for the season, Baguio City opted to spread out Christmas decorations for both locals and visitors to appreciate. And it was revealed that the Cordilleran culture will be showcased in the Christmas decorations in the city this year.
“The nativity story interspersed with the Bendian dance steps shall be showcased in Christmas decorations from Malcolm Square, winding up the city’s main thoroughfares and ending at upper Session Road rotunda,” stated the Public Information Office of the City of Baguio earlier this afternoon of Tuesday, November 24, 2020.

According to the City Planning and Development Coordinator, on December 8, 2020, Malcolm Square shall be lighted for the event. There will be six (6) panels representing the six Cordillera provinces who will provide insights with regards to the culture and celebrations done in their province.
“All decorations symbolize that amidst the physical separation we are all undergoing with the Covid-19 pandemic, we are together in healing.”
More details about the Christmas celebration in Baguio City are to be expected in the next days according to the Public Information Office of the City of Baguio.
