Amihan and trough of LPA to bring rains in parts of the country

The trough of a Low Pressure Area (LPA) will bring inclement weather to different parts of the country, according to the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA).

According to the weather advisory issued at 11 am today, the trough of the Low Pressure Area (LPA) located outside the Philippine Area of Responsibility (PAR) will bring moderate to heavy rains over Eastern Visayas, Dinagat Islands, Surigao del Norte, Surigao del Sur, and Agusan del Norte.

Light to moderate with at times heavy rains will be experienced over Central Visayas, Northern Mindanao, Davao Region, and Agusan del Sur.

Meanwhile, the northeast monsoon will continue to bring cloudy skies with rains and moderate to strong winds throughout Luzon, including Baguio City.
