Airports with Clearance to Resume Commercial Operations as of Feb. 1



The Civil Authority of the Philippines (CAAP) has released the list of 47 airports in the country with Local Government Unit (LGU) clearance to resume commercial flights as of Monday, February 1, 2021.

“As of today, 1 February, there are 47 airports in the country whose Local Government Units (LGUs) have issued orders categorically supporting the resumption* of commercial airport operations in their areas of jurisdiction.”

“Some airports, while allowing the resumption of commercial flights, are subject to different documentary and passenger LGU restrictions,” CAAP added.

47 Allowed Airports

Here are the following allowed airports. According to CAAP, all flights for airports under “allowed” require prior coordination/approval for the LGU and will be accepting flights subject to restrictions of the LGU.

  • Antique Airport
  • Bacolod-Silay Airport
  • Basco Airport
  • Bohol-Panglao International Airport
  • Borongan Airport
  • Busuanga Airport
  • Butuan Airport
  • Calbayog Airport
  • Catarman Airport
  • Catbalogan Airport
  • Caticlan Airport
  • Cauayan Airport
  • Clark International Airport
  • Cotabato Airport
  • Davao International Airport
  • Dipolog Airport
  • Dumaguete Airport
  • General Santos Airport
  • Guiuan Airport
  • Hilongos Airport
  • Iloilo International Airport
  • Jolo Aiport
  • Kalibo International Airport
  • Laguindingan Airport
  • Laoag International Airport
  • Legazpi Airport
  • Maasin Airport
  • Mactan-Cebu International Airport
  • Marinduque Airport
  • Masbate Airport
  • Naga Airport
  • Ninoy Aquino International Airport
  • Ormoc Airport

Furthermore, as stated by CAAP, the Roxas, Bacolod, and Iloilo flights require prior coordination with both the city and provincial LGU.
