Mariah Carey may have gotten all she wants for Christmas, as her song “All I Want for Christmas” garnered the top spot in the Billboard Hot 100! This Christmas song is popular not only in the United States but also has become a staple song in the Philippines during the yuletide season.
This iconic song has reached the number 1 position and has been in the said spot for four weeks. This is also the third year in a row that this song has reached the top 10. It has also reached the top 1 spot on the billboard hot 100 in 2019. This iconic song by Mariah Carey is considered to be the “first Christmas song to reach the top spot in the billboard charts in 60 years after the “Chipmunk Song”, according to the online magazine Vulture.
But this is not the only Mariah Carey song that graced the Billboard Hot 100 during the span of her career, she actually had 18 number 1 hits, the second most all-time next only to the Beatles.
