As released by the Public Information Office of Baguio City, the city’s total confirmed new cases jumps to 14 as two (2) more patients test positive of the coronavirus disease today, July 25, 2020.
This is in addition to the three and nine new cases that were recorded earlier today. In the same post, the local government also shared the patients’ places of residence.

3 New Patients Test Positive for COVID-19 in Baguio City
Here are the details on the fourteen (14) cases recorded in the city of Baguio today:
According to Mayor Magalong, “Three patients were first assessed in the barangays and were swab tested because we issued an order advising all residents with symptoms to notify the barangays. The rest represent the various sectors whom we asked to be covered by the testing at 10 percent per sector.” He also stated that all cases were a result of expanded risk-based testing which the city has been conducting among the vulnerable sectors.
The fourteen (14) additional cases recorded today raises the city’s total to 81, with 31 active cases, 46 recoveries, and 2 deaths.
