Three Areas in Baguio City on Lockdown

One area in Baguio City has been put under provisional lockdown today, September 21, 2020. While yesterday, September 20, 2020,  two barangays have been put on a hard lockdown.

One Area on Lockdown as of September 21

Just earlier this morning of September 21, 2020 (Monday), the whole of Barangay Ferdinand was placed by Baguio City Mayor Benjamin Magalong under provisional lockdown.

Based on the Memorandum No. 332, Series of 2020, the lockdown has been placed due to the eight (8) new confirmed cases recorded in the said barangay.

Areas on Lockdown as of September 20

On the other hand, last Sunday, September 20, 2020, Mayor Magalong has issued the Memorandum No. 331, Series of 2020, implementing a hard lockdown on Barangay Sto. Niño -Slaughter and Barangay Lourdes Subdivision Extension.

As stated in the said memorandum, all persons shall remain within the confines of their homes for the duration of the lockdown, except in cases of emergency medical necessities.
