Under Executive Order No. 51, Series of 2020, the Extreme Enhanced Community Quarantine (EECQ) order over Central Poblacion and Batawel-Mangi-Coplo of Barangay Bayabas in Sablan, Benguet is lifted effective yesterday, June 17, 2020.
According to the EO, the EECQ order over the said areas was lifted since the close contacts of Sablan’s first COVID-19 case tested negative for COVID-19 through confirmatory tests.
In line with this, residents of the said areas will now have to abide by the guidelines for the implementation of Modified General Community quarantine in Sablan.
Residents of the two areas under EECQ must observe restrictions on the exit and entry to their residence.
Under the same EO, Sablan announces that its Local Government Unit (LGU) will resume office operations allowing only the following:
The EO also declared that all business establishments, from the Municipal Market to the nearby livestock/poultry outlet until the business establishment before the Immaculate Conception Parish, which were previously ordered to temporarily close during the EECQ can now resume operations subject to prevailing quarantine protocols, including liquor ban.
