New Lockdown Orders Issued for 5 Barangays | Localized Lockdown Also Implemented

According to the Memorandum order no. 176 series of 2020 signed by Mayor Benjamin Magalong. New Lockdown orders are issued in several barangays as well as the implementation of a more localized lockdown in some areas.

New Lockdown Orders for these Barangays

• Eslao Street in Barangay Dontogan
• Purok 6 of Barangay Honeymoon-Holyghost
• Purok 4 of Barangay Magsaysay Private Road
• BHD Compound of Barangay Teodora Alonzo
• Barangay Upper Rock Quarry

Localized Lockdown Protocols for Barangays already under Lockdown

• Barangay Brookspoint: Puroks 4 and 5 only
• Barangay Dominican-Mirador, Malaya Village and St. Peter Street of URDI Compound
• Barangay Fairview, Avelino Street, and Purok 1 only
• Barangay New Lucban, Purok 7 is maintained
• Barangay Pinget Puroks 4 and 10 only
• Barangay Irisan: Maryland Subdivision in Purok 14, Purok 14-A and Purok 27

According to the memorandum, the most recent COVID-19 cases in Baguio City are coming from the said barangays. In order to facilitate contact tracing and ensure the safety and security of those who may have come in contact with the patients, the lockdown orders are being implemented. For those new areas on lockdown, the implementation will start at 7:00 AM today August 12, 2020, until further notice.
