Kennon Road still Closed; Other Road Updates

Here are the current updates on the Kennon Road, the Tawang-Ambiong Road, the Baguio-Bontoc Road, and the Itogon-Dalupirip Road, as of 7:00 AM, October 23, 2020, posted by Public Information Office-Benguet. See below for the details.

Kennon Road

• Closed but open to residents only
• MPP: Sean Payad
• 0927 347 6056
• Alternate route:
  • Marcos Highway
  • Baguio-Bauang Road
  • Asin-Nangalisan-San Pascual Road

Tawang-Ambiong Road

• Still closed at Station K0263+900-K0263+930, Sitio Lower Riverside, Brgy. Ambiong, La Trinidad due to Roadcut
• Alternate route:
  • Shilan-Beckel Road
  • Baguio-Bontoc Road

Baguio-Bontoc Road

• Open to light vehicles (5 tons and below) only at K0256 + 172, La Trinidad, Benguet due to damaged bridge deck
• The bridge is under contract

Itogon-Dalupirip Road

• One lane passable at station K0277+850-K0277+865, Sitio Asin, Brgy. Dalupirip, Itogon due to soil erosion
• Clearing will resume upon the availability of equipment
