COVID-19 patient in Baguio City who shared his story recovers today

UPDATE June 17, 2026 11:03 AM:

Jonover David, a nurse who contracted the Coronavirus Disease 2019 (COVID-19), recovered today and was released from the Baguio General Hospital and Medical Center (BGHMC).

David, a resident of Woodsgate, Camp 7, is the 15th patient to recover from the disease in the city.

Shares his story to inform and inspire others

Previously, David shared his experience as he fought COVID-19 through his Facebook account. According to him, he posted about his experiences in order for others to be aware of what COVID-19 is and to inspire other people, especially those who are fighting Coronavirus like him.

As we hope for more recoveries in the days to come, may we continue to do our part by strictly following guidelines set in our community as we are still under quarantine status.
