Conduct of Licensure Examinations for Professional Teachers will push through in Baguio City



The conduct of the Licensure examinations for Professional Teachers will push through. This is according to the statement released by the Professional Regulations Commission Cordillera Administrative Region (PRC-CAR). The conduct of the LEPT (Licensure Exam for Professional Teachers) in Baguio City on September 26, 2021, is with the approval of the Cordillera Regional Inter-Agency Task Force (RIATF), Cordillera Regional Task Force (RTF), and the City Government of Baguio.

PRC-CAR is expecting 564 examinees for those taking the Elementary Level LEPT and 2,040 examinees taking the secondary level LEPT. This announcement came to clarify the growing concerns of examinees on whether or not the exams will push through following the increased quarantine classification of Baguio City from GCQ to GCQ with heightened restrictions.

Licensure Examination for Professional Teachers Examination Venues in Baguio City

For Elementary Level LEPT

  • Baguio Central School, Yandoc Street
  • University of Baguio, Upper General Luna Road
  • University of the Cordilleras (Main), Governor Pack Road

For Secondary Level LEPT

  • Aguinaldo Elementary School, Everlasting Street
  • Baguio Central University, Bonifacio Street
  • Baguio Central University, Magsaysay Avenue
  • Bonifacio Elementary School, Guisad Road
  • Doña Josefa Cariño Elementary School, Guisad Road
  • Lucban Elementary School, Magsaysay Avenue

Protocols for Examinees entering Baguio coming from outside of BLISTT

  • Accomplish the entry record sent via the examinee’s email or posted at facebook.com/prc.cordillera.
  • Follow the entry protocols of Baguio City in including the presentation of documents at the Baguio Central Triage.

Documents to be presented by Examinee at the Central Triage

For Fully Vaccinated Examinee (Vaccinated in a legitimate facility outside of Baguio City)

  1. QR Code issued through a duly registered Health Declaration for at https://hdf.baguio.gov.ph
  2. COVID-19 domestic vaccination card issued by a legitimate vaccinating establishment or certificate of quarantine completion showing the holder’s vaccination status as issued by the Bureau of Quarantine.
  3. Notice of Admission (NOA) or Room Assignment as proof of indispensable transaction.

For those who are NOT Fully Vaccinated

  1. QR Code issued through a duly registered Health Declaration for at https://hdf.baguio.gov.ph
  2. NOA or Room Assignment as proof of indispensable transaction
  3. A negative result of Antigen or RT-PCR test conducted within seventy-two (72) hours prior to entry into Baguio. In the absence of negative test results, the traveler shall submit himself/herself for testing at the Baguio City Central Triage Unit.
