Balete Tree, and other Tublay Tourist Spots Open for Benguet Residents
The Municipality of Tublay, Benguet has opened several of their tourism sites for Baguio residents.
In the released EO, Tublay Mayor Armando Lauro has ordered the guidelines governing the operation of particular tourism sites and activities in the municipality of Tublay, Benguet for the period of January 7, 2021 until February 7, 2021.
The following tourist destinations are open in the said periods:
Asin Hotspring
Location: Tuel, Tublay
AHONDA Caves, Rock Formations, and Jungle Adventures
Location: Tuel, Tublay
Balete Tree
Location: Tuel, Tublay
The Ridge Cafe
Location: Ambassador, Tublay
Polig’s Berry Farm
Location: Ambassador, Tublay
Allowed Persons
The listed tourist spots will be open for Residents of Benguet ONLY.
Requirements
For Benguet residents visiting the tourist sites, the following are required:
Health Declaration
Valid ID
Guidelines
Overcrowding is absolutely prohibited. Traffic flow of persons must be established to prevent congestion and to ensure the ability to maintain distance on the said areas.
The following shall be the prescribed carrying capacity per site at a time with its operating hours:
Asin Hotspring
Carrying Capacity
Hot Spring: Not more than 15 persons at a time
Cottage: Not more than 10 persons at a time at each cottage

3. Tourist shall sign in a logbook with the following information:
Full Name
Complete Address Contact Number
Temperatures
4. Personnel of Tublay Municipal Police Station, concerned barangay officials and their designated Health and Safety Protocol Officer, shall oversee compliance to health and safety protocols such as face mask and face shield, social/physical distancing, availability of hand sanitizer/disinfectants.
5. Facem mask must be used by guest and staff at all times.
6. Immediately contact health authorities/LGU upon coming across coronavirus symptoms.
7. All existing policies not in conflict with these guidelines or any provisions under the health and safety standards prescribed by DOH, DTI, DOLE, and DOT are to be implemented.
