As a result of the new cases in La Trinidad, the Municipal Mayor of La Trinidad has ordered the lockdown of the following areas:
La Trinidad Municipal Mayor Romeo K. Salda appealed to the public, specifically to those citizens who transacted at the Municipal hall from June 9 until June 17 are directed to undergo 14-days home quarantine. The Municipal Mayor further asked the public that those who exhibits flu-like symptoms should immediately contact their Barangay or their Barangay Health Emergency Response Team (BHERT) or Call the Municipal COVID 19 Hotline at: 620 5907 or 0998 389 6028.

In an announcement made by La Trinidad Mayor Romeo K. Salda. He stated that there are new cases of COVID-19 patients in the municipality of La Trinidad. There are five (5) new cases in total as of June 17, 2020. Four (4) of these new COVID-19 patients are frontliners. Three (3) of them are Police officers and One (1) Municipal Health Worker. The fifth COVID-19 case is that of a student.
It is because of this, that the Mayor has also ordered the Municipal Hall of La Trinidad closed from June 18, 2020, until further notice. This is to implement the disinfection process and to facilitate the contact tracing procedure.
In line with the closing of the Municipal Hall the Mayor, called on employees, volunteers, and clients to refrain from going to the municipal hall starting June 18, 2020.
The Municipality of La Trinidad reminded its constituents to stay home, stay safe, and stay healthy.
