Work in the City Government of Baguio Suspended Today

Addressed to the Honorable Members of the Sanggunian Panlungsod, all department heads, and all city employees of the City Government of Baguio, Acting City Mayor Faustino Olowan has issued Memorandum No. 482 series of 2020, suspending work in the City Government of Baguio for this afternoon of Friday, October 30 2020.

“In view of the old-age tradition of commemorating All Saints Day and All Souls Day in the whole Christendom, Work in the City Government of Baguio in the afternoon of Friday, 30 October 2020, 1:00 PM-5:00 PM is hereby suspended to allow officials and employees to reunite with their respective families in remembering their loved ones.”

Those offices charged with the function of delivering emergency and vital services, however, vital services shall maintain full force to attend to the public, based on the memorandum.
