Relative to the three new COVID-19 cases recorded in Baguio City yesterday, June 18, 2020, the 30-year-old female service crew who tested positive for the disease agreed to identify herself through the Public Information Office-City of Baguio (PIO-Baguio).
Cecille Roque of Lower Cypress, Irisan, which is now under lockdown for contact tracing, is one of the three reported cases in Baguio City yesterday.
She works as a service crew member of a fastfood chain, whose name she apologetically declined to reveal according to PIO-Baguio because it is her only source of income.
In addition, she had no travel history nor exposure to a confirmed case.
On the other hand, according to the report on her whereabouts, here are the places where Roque has gone days before the confirmation of her COVID-19 test results:
Furthermore, it was also mentioned that she was informed of her test’s positive result yesterday, June 18, 2020. However, she still has not experienced any symptoms.
Roque swore that she strictly abided by precautionary measures including the use of facemasks and physical distancing, especially at her workplace.
She urges those who have been in contact with her to reach out to the nearest health center.
Aside from Roque, the police officer from Barangay Poliwes also agreed to be identified to help hasten contact tracing.
