The City Government of Baguio, through the Office of the City Mayor Benjamin Magalong, has ordered an immediate lockdown order on three barangays in the city today, August 8, 2020. This is to facilitate complete and efficient contact tracing and to ensure the safety of persons who may have come in contact with the most recent COVID-19 cases recorded in the city.
As per Memorandum No. 165 series of 2020, the following barangays will be placed under lockdown effective today, until further notice:
Here are the following guidelines, as stated in Memorandum No. 144, Series of 2020, Lockdown procedures for purposes of contact tracing, to be implemented in areas under lockdown for contact tracing purposes:

In the same announcement by the Public Information Office of Baguio City, Mayor Magalong has also announced the lifting of the lockdown orders on the following barangays, effective immediately:
As per Memorandum The lockdown order was lifted after the local Contact Tracing Team has conducted a reassessment of the above-mentioned barangay.
As of date, there are currently twenty-two (22) barangays in the city that are under lockdown status.
