Lockdown Issued for Purok 6 and 7 of Barangay Quezon Hill

One of the new COVID-19 Case in Baguio City has been found out to be a resident of Barangay Middle Quezon Hill. As standard procedure, the office of the City Mayor has issued a lockdown order particularly on Puroks 6 and 7 of the said barangay.

The purpose of the lockdown is to facilitate contact tracing and disinfection of the area. This is also to ensure the safety and security of the residents who may have come in contact with the patient.

As a result of the lockdown the following will be implemented:

1. Home Quarantine Pass / Mall and Market Schedule Cards are suspended
2. Residents may access basic need through the barangay satellite market or available rolling stores or they could coordinate with their barangay officials.
3. Exit and Entry to these areas are restricted to APOR’s and those with medical emergencies.
