Civil Service Exam on March 15 Suspended

The Career Service Examination – Pen and Paper Test (CSE-PPT) which was supposed to be conducted nationwide on March 15, 2020, is suspended by the Civil Service Commission (CSC). The suspension of the CSE-PPT is in compliance with the Proclamation No. 922 signed by President Rodrigo Roa Duterte.

What is Proclamation No. 992?

This was a proclamation released yesterday declaring the State of Public Health Emergency throughout the Philippines and calling for the implementation of urgent, critical measures to contain the spread of coronavirus (COVID-19).

CS Exam Details:

Number of Testing Locations: 66 Locations

Total Number of CS Examinees: 293,845 Individual Nationwide

Number of Professional Level Examinees: Estimated 253,419 individuals

Subprofessional Level Examinees: Estimated 40,426 individuals
