Baguio City Records Four New COVID-19 Cases Today

The City of Baguio has recorded four new patients confirmwd positive for COVID-19, as reported in today’s Baguio City COVID-19 Monitoring Update.

New COVID-19 Cases in Baguio City

As reported by the Public Information Office of Baguio City, here are the details on the new COVID-19 cases:

  • 50-year old male from Barangay Cypress, Irisan as reported earlier today;
  • 29-year old male from Barangay Pinget;
  • 31-year old female from Barangay Brookspoint, Aurora Hill; and
  • 71-year old male from Chapis Village, Barangay Bakakeng Central who was pronounced dead on arrival at the BGHMC.

Immediate Lockdown Orders on Involved Barangays

To facilitate contact tracing regarding these cases, Mayor Magalong has ordered the immediate lockdown on the abovementioned barangays.

COVID-19 Cases in Baguio City

There are currently a total of 162 confirmed COVID-19 cases in Baguio City. Among which, 58 are active cases, 99 have recovered, and 5 have succumbed to the disease.
