All Bokod LGU Offices Temporarily Closed Starting Today Until Further Notice

The Mayor’s Office of Bokod, Benguet has released an announcement on Monday morning informing all of its constituents that all offices of the Municipal Local Government Unit of Bokod shall be temporarily closed on April 5, 2021, until further notice.

All offices will be conducting disinfection and contact tracing activities, as well as isolation/quarantine intervention.

Municipal Mayor Thomas K. Wales Jr. appeals to “not discriminate our health workers or any of our front-liners who are Covid-19 patients/ suspects and their families, rather let us pray for them. Further, please observe the minimum health protocols at all times,”

Offices whose functions involve the delivery of basic and health services, preparedness/response to disaster and calamities, and/or the performance of other vital services shall continue with the operations and render the necessary services.

The municipality has recorded three (3) new confirmed cases yesterday, April 4, 2021.
